Our trip to the Old and Child Rehabilitation Centre
As the ending to our Unit of Inquiry called "We Can be Heroes", we went to the OCRC in Gazipur. We spent time with the elderly people who have been given a home there, and we shared some fruit, flowers and sweets with them. They were really happy to chat with us, to answer our questions and just to spend some time with some kids!!! We felt like we were heroes... even if it was just for a day. All of us would love to go back there again soon, to see the people again.If you're interested in going to the OCRC I'm sure they would be delighted to see you. I had a great day, it was so interesting to talk to the older generation of Bangladeshi people. I hope that we can continue to visit them.

It was the best day of my life. I felt very happy to talk with the old people. I hope we go again to that place.
